G’day my name's Dan.

I’m an Australian born musician with an unnatural hunger for Japanese food. In 2008 I went backpacking by myself around Japan in search for the ultimate bowl of ramen. I armed myself with local knowledge and saved money by staying on the couches of friends I made online before I left Australia. With their tips and and a very basic knowledge of the language I found myself in places, and at events I thought I'd never experience. I ate food that I swore I’d never try, and shared some uniquely personal Japanese moments with total strangers.
